Genesis 40:1-23 talk about how Joseph interpret di dreams of Pharaoh's butler and baker. He predict di butler's restoration and di baker's death.
1. Sometime after, Pharaoh butler and Pharaoh baker offend their master, Pharaoh, di king of Egypt.
2. Pharaoh become angry with di two officers, di chief butler and di chief baker.
3. Pharaoh put dem inside di prison, inside di place wey Joseph dey, for di house of di captain of di guards.
4. Di captain of di guards appoint Joseph to take care of dem. Joseph serve dem well while dem dey inside prison.
5. One night, both of dem dream, each one get dream wey e no understand.
6. In di morning, Joseph come to dem, and he notice say dem dey sad.
7. Joseph ask dem: "Wetin make una face look sad today?"
8. Di butler and di baker answer am: "We get dream, but we no get anybody to interpret am."
9. Joseph reply dem: "Na God be di one wey fit interpret dreams. Tell me di dream, I go tell una wetin e mean."
10. Di chief butler begin first, and him tell Joseph say: "I dream say I dey hold one vine in front of me.
11. Di vine get three branches, and di branches bud, blossom, and bear grapes.
12. Di Pharaoh cup dey my hand, so I take di grapes, squeeze di juice into Pharaoh cup, and I give am di cup."
13. Joseph tell am say: "Dis na di meaning of your dream: Di three branches na three days.
14. In three days, Pharaoh go lift up your head, he go restore you to your position, and you go give Pharaoh cup as you used to do before.
15. But when you don restored, no forget me. Tell Pharaoh say I dey here wrongly."
16. When di chief baker see di interpretation of di butler dream was good, him come tell Joseph say: "I also get dream. I dream say I dey carry three baskets of bread for my head.
17. In di top basket, get all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, but di birds dey come eat di bread from di basket on top my head."
18. Joseph answer am: "Dis na di meaning of your dream: Di three baskets na three days.
19. In three days, Pharaoh go lift up your head too, but e no go restore you. Instead, Pharaoh go hang you on a tree, and di birds go eat your flesh."
20. Three days later, on Pharaoh birthday, Pharaoh give banquet for all his officers. He restore di chief butler to him position, and di chief baker he hang.
21. Just like Joseph interpret di dream, e happen.
22. Pharaoh butler go back to him position, and he give Pharaoh cup, but di chief baker Pharaoh hang.
23. But di chief butler no remember Joseph, he forget am.
