Exodus 9:1-35 show how God use plagues like disease, boils, and hail to prove say e get power pass Pharaoh, but e still stubborn.
1. Di Lord tell Moses, "Go meet Pharaoh and tell am, ‘Di Lord wey be God of di Hebrews say make you let my people go make dem fit serve me.’"
2. "If you refuse to let dem go and you still hold dem back,"
3. "I go bring serious disease come your livestock—your horses, donkeys, camels, cows, and sheep."
4. "But I go separate di livestock of Israel from di livestock of Egypt. Nothing go happen to di Israelites' animals."
5. "Tomorrow, I go do this thing wey I don talk."
6. Di next day, di Lord do as e talk. All di livestock of di Egyptians die, but none of di Israelites' livestock die.
7. Pharaoh send people go check, dem see say none of Israel animals die. But Pharaoh still harden e heart, e no let di people go.
8. Di Lord tell Moses and Aaron, "Carry ashes from di furnace, make Moses throw am up for di sky in front of Pharaoh."
9. "Di ashes go turn to fine dust all over Egypt and e go cause serious boil wey go break out on man and beast."
10. So Moses and Aaron carry di ashes, stand for Pharaoh front, Moses throw am up for air, di boil start to break out for Egyptians and their animals.
11. Even di magicians no fit stand because of di boils, as di boil catch dem too like other Egyptians.
12. But di Lord harden Pharaoh heart, e no listen to Moses and Aaron, just as di Lord don talk.
13. Di Lord tell Moses, "Wake up early morning, go meet Pharaoh and tell am, ‘Di Lord say, make you let my people go make dem fit serve me.’"
14. "If you no gree, I go send heavy plague come meet you, your servants, and your people, so you go know say nobody dey like me for di whole earth."
15. "I fit don wipe you and your people since, but I allow you dey so I fit show you my power and make my name spread for di whole earth."
16. "But you still dey behave stubborn, you no wan let my people go."
17. "So, tomorrow by this time, I go send one serious hailstorm wey never happen before since Egypt start till today."
18. "Make you tell your people make dem carry their livestock and everything wey dey outside enter house."
19. "Any man or animal wey remain outside go die as di hail fall."
20. Some of Pharaoh servants wey fear di Lord word quickly carry their servants and livestock enter house.
21. But some people no send di warning, dem leave their servants and animals outside.
22. Di Lord tell Moses, "Stretch your hand go sky, make hail begin fall for Egypt—e go fall on man, beast, and everything for di land."
23. Moses stretch e rod go sky, di Lord send thunder and hail, and fire dey follow di hail come down. Di Lord send di hail rain down for Egypt.
24. Hail mix with fire dey fall, e strong well well, e never happen before for Egypt.
25. Di hail strike everything wey dey di field—man, beast, and tree, e scatter all di crops.
26. But for Goshen, where di Israelites dey, hail no fall.
27. Pharaoh send for Moses and Aaron, e tell dem, "This time I don sin. Di Lord na di righteous one, me and my people na di wicked ones."
28. "Beg di Lord, di thunder and hail too much! I go let una go, una no go stay again."
29. Moses tell am, "Once I leave di city, I go lift my hands to di Lord, di thunder go stop and di hail no go fall again, so you go know say di earth na di Lord own."
30. "But I know say you and your servants never still fear di Lord God."
31. By di time di hail stop, e don damage di flax and di barley crops because di barley don grow and di flax don bloom.
32. But di wheat and di spelt crops never spoil because dem never ripe.
33. Moses comot from Pharaoh presence, e go outside di city, e stretch e hands to di Lord. Thunder and hail stop, di rain no fall again.
34. When Pharaoh see say di rain, thunder, and hail don stop, e still harden e heart, e no gree change e way.
35. Pharaoh heart still hard, e no let di Israelites go, just as di Lord don talk through Moses.
