Exodus 10:1-29 show how God send locust and darkness to warn Pharaoh, but e still no gree make Israel people go free.
1. Di Lord tell Moses, "Go meet Pharaoh again, because I don harden e heart and di heart of e servants, so I fit show dem my wonders."
2. "I wan make you tell your children and your grandchildren wetin I do for Egypt, di signs and wonders wey I take show dem say na me be God, so una go sabi say I be di Lord."
3. So Moses and Aaron go meet Pharaoh, dem tell am, "Di Lord, di God of di Hebrews say, ‘How long you go still dey refuse to humble yourself before me? Make you let my people go make dem fit serve me.’"
4. "If you no gree let dem go, by tomorrow I go send locusts come your land."
5. "Dem go cover everywhere so till person no fit see ground. Dem go chop all di food wey remain after di hail, and dem go eat every tree wey dey grow for di field."
6. "Dem go full your house, di house of your servants, and all di houses for Egypt. E go be something wey una ancestors never see since Egypt start till today." After Moses talk finish, e waka comot from Pharaoh presence.
7. Pharaoh servants tell am, "Oga, how long this man go still be problem for us? Make you let di Israelites go make dem fit serve di Lord their God. You never see say Egypt don suffer finish?"
8. So dem call Moses and Aaron come back to Pharaoh. E tell dem, "Make una go serve di Lord una God. But who and who wan go?"
9. Moses reply, "We go go with young and old, with our sons and daughters, our flocks and cattle, because na celebration to di Lord we dey go do."
10. Pharaoh tell dem, "E no go happen like dat! Only di men go go worship di Lord, because na so una really want am." E chase dem comot from e presence.
11. So Pharaoh no gree make all di people go.
12. Di Lord tell Moses, "Stretch your hand over Egypt, make di locusts come upon di land, make dem chop all di food wey remain after di hail."
13. So Moses stretch e rod over Egypt, and di Lord send strong east wind wey blow all day and all night. By morning, di wind carry locusts come Egypt.
14. Di locusts come full di whole Egypt, e never get locusts like dat before, and e never go get again.
15. Dem cover everywhere till ground no dey visible. Dem chop everything wey remain after di hail, dem eat all di trees wey grow for di field. Nothing green remain for di land of Egypt.
16. Pharaoh quickly call Moses and Aaron, e tell dem, "I don sin against di Lord una God and against una."
17. "Abeg, make una forgive me dis one time, beg di Lord una God make e remove dis death from me."
18. Moses comot from Pharaoh presence and e pray to di Lord.
19. Di Lord send strong west wind wey carry di locusts enter Red Sea. No single locust remain for di land of Egypt.
20. But di Lord harden Pharaoh heart, and e no gree let di Israelites go.
21. Di Lord tell Moses, "Stretch your hand go di sky, make darkness cover Egypt, darkness wey dem fit touch."
22. So Moses stretch e hand go di sky, and thick darkness cover Egypt for three days.
23. Nobody fit see each other or move from where dem dey for three days. But for where di Israelites dey, light dey.
24. Pharaoh call Moses, e tell am, "Make una go serve di Lord. Only make una leave una flocks and cattle behind. Una pikin dem fit go with una."
25. But Moses tell am, "You must give us animals for sacrifice and burnt offerings, so we fit serve di Lord our God."
26. "Our livestock go follow us, we no go leave one hoof behind, because we no sabi wetin we go use serve di Lord until we reach di place."
27. But di Lord harden Pharaoh heart, and e no gree let dem go.
28. Pharaoh tell Moses, "Make you comot from my presence! If I see your face again, na die you go die!"
29. Moses reply, "You don talk am well, I no go see your face again."
