Genesis 13:1-18 talk about how Abram and Lot separate because their possessions too much. God bless Abram with land, promising him many descendants.
1. Abram and him wife, plus all di things wey dem get, and Lot, comot from Egypt and waka go back to di Negev.
2. Abram get plenty money, gold, and livestock.
3. From Negev, Abram continue di journey back to Bethel, to di place wey him first pitch tent, between Bethel and Ai.
4. Na for there he build altar before, and na there him call di name of God again.
5. Lot, wey follow Abram waka, get him own sheep, cows, and tents.
6. Di land no fit carry di two of dem together, because dem get plenty wealth, and di space no dey enough.
7. Fight come start between di herdsmen of Abram and di herdsmen of Lot. That time, di Canaanites and Perizzites still dey live for di land.
8. Abram tell Lot, “Make we no fight, me and you, or between your herdsmen and my own, because we be family.”
9. “Di whole land dey before us. Make we separate. If you go left, I go go right; if you go right, I go go left.”
10. Lot look di land well and see say di whole Jordan Valley dey green, like di garden of God, like Egypt. Na before Sodom and Gomorrah destroy.
11. Lot choose di whole Jordan Valley and waka go east. So dem two go separate.
12. Abram stay for di land of Canaan, but Lot go pitch him tent near Sodom.
13. Di men of Sodom bad well well, and dem dey do plenty sin against God.
14. After Lot don comot, God tell Abram, “Lift your eyes and look well, north, south, east, and west.”
15. “All di land wey you see, I go give am to you and your pikin dem forever.”
16. “I go make your pikin dem plenty like sand for di ground; nobody fit count dem.”
17. “Waka through di land, everywhere, because I don give am to you.”
18. So Abram move him tent go settle near di big trees of Mamre wey dey Hebron, and he build altar for di Lord there.
