7. In di greatness of your majesty, you throw down di people wey oppose you, you send your anger, e burn dem like fire.
8. Di blast of your nostrils, di water piled up, di water form like wall. Di deep water congeal in di middle of di sea.
9. Di enemy said: 'I go chase dem, I go overtake dem, I go divide spoil, I go take dem to myself, I go draw my sword, my hand go destroy dem.'
10. You blew with your breath, di sea cover dem; dey sink like lead in mighty waters.
11. Who among di gods be like you, Lord? Who be like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12. You stretched out your right hand, di earth swallowed dem.
13. In your mercy, you lead di people you redeemed, you guide dem in your strength to your holy dwelling.
14. Di people hear and dey tremble, pangs take hold of di Philistines.
15. Then di chiefs of Edom are dismayed, di leaders of Moab trembling take hold of dem, all di people of Canaan melt away.
16. Terror and dread fall upon dem, by di greatness of your arm dey be still as stone, till your people pass over, O Lord, till di people pass over whom you have purchased.
17. You shall bring dem in and plant dem in di mountain of your inheritance, in di place O Lord, where you have made for your dwelling, in di sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established.
18. Di Lord shall reign forever and ever.
19. For Pharaoh's horses, with his chariots and his horsemen, went into di sea, and di Lord brought di waters of di sea back upon dem, but di Israelites walked on dry land in di midst of di sea.
20. Then Miriam di prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all di women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.
21. Miriam answered them: "Sing to di Lord, for he is highly exalted; both horse and driver he has hurled into di sea."
22. So Moses brought Israel from di Red Sea, and dey went out into di Wilderness of Shur; and dey went three days in di wilderness, and found no water.
23. When dey came to Marah, dey could not drink of di waters of Marah, because dey were bitter; therefore di name of it was called Marah.
24. And di people complained against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"
25. So he cried out to di Lord, and di Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into di waters, di waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for dem, and there he tested dem,
26. And said, "If you diligently heed di voice of di Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of di diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you."
27. Then dey came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so dey camped there by di waters.
