Genesis 8 explain how Noah and di animals survive di flood. After rain stop, God make covenant, promise never to flood di earth again.
1. But God remember Noah and all di animals and creatures wey dey with am inside di ark, so God send breeze make e blow for di earth, and di water begin go down.
2. Di springs of di deep and di windows of heaven close, and rain stop to fall from sky.
3. Di water begin go down little by little from di earth, and after 150 days, di water don reduce well well.
4. On di 17th day of di seventh month, di ark rest for top Mount Ararat.
5. Di water continue to go down until di tenth month, and on di first day of di tenth month, di top of di mountains show.
6. After 40 days, Noah open di window wey e don put for di ark.
7. He send out raven, and di bird fly here and there until di water dry from di earth.
8. Then Noah send dove to see whether di water don go down from di surface of di earth.
9. But di dove no find place to rest, so e return back to Noah for di ark, because water still dey cover di surface of di earth. So Noah stretch him hand and carry di dove enter inside di ark.
10. Noah wait another seven days, and then he send di dove out again from di ark.
11. Di dove come back to am in di evening, and e get fresh olive leaf for him mouth, so Noah know say di water don go down well well for di earth.
12. Noah wait another seven days and send di dove out again, but dis time di dove no return to am.
13. For di 601st year, on di first day of di first month, di water don dry from di earth. So Noah remove di cover of di ark and look, and he see say di ground don dry.
14. By di 27th day of di second month, di earth don dry completely.
15. Then God tell Noah,
16. “Comot from di ark—you, your wife, your sons, and di wives of your sons.
17. Bring out all di animals wey dey with you—birds, livestock, and all di creatures wey dey crawl for ground—so dem go fill di earth, multiply, and plenty well well.”
18. So Noah, im sons, him wife, and di wives of him sons comot from di ark.
19. All di animals, all di creatures wey dey crawl, and all di birds—everything wey dey move for di earth—comot from di ark, one by one, according to dia kind.
20. Then Noah build altar for God, and he take some of di clean animals and clean birds and offer dem as burnt sacrifice on top di altar.
21. God smell di sweet aroma and say to himself, “I no go ever curse di ground again because of man, even though di thoughts wey dey man heart na evil from di time wey dem small. I no go destroy all living things again like I don do.
22. As long as di earth dey, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night no go ever end.”
